Welding Technology Centre (WTC) at Jadavpur University , Kolkata, was formed to strengthen the understanding and co-operation in promoting the development of Welding / Joining Technology.

Welding Technology Centre (WTC) at Jadavpur University , Kolkata, was formed to strengthen the understanding and co-operation in promoting the development of Welding / Joining Technology.

Recently WTC and the Institute for Advanced welding training and Research (IAWTR) have signed a MOU for conducting all types of training related to welding.

IAWTR is an ISO:9001:2008 certificate institute and has been formed to put in place the foundation for the qualification and certification of persons ranging from welders, welding supervisors and welding engineers to create competence of the company and its welding personal.
