Faculty Council (Courses): Faculty of Engineering & Technology

The Faculty of Engineering & Technology, popularly known as FET, predates the university because many of the departments were set up during the phase of the National Council of Education, Bengal, in the early years of the twentieth century. It comprises 16 Departments, which include some which were among the first to be established in India, and, indeed, Asia. The FET has gained academic and social recognition for its high profile research projects, new courses to develop creative skills, a focus on solving real-life problems, and the linkages it has established globally.
