Dr. Kamaran M.K. Mondal, at present, Professor in the Department of International Relations, Jadavpur University, Kolkata, has been engaged in teaching and research activities since 2019. Former Assistant Professor in the Department of Political Science at Chandidas Mahavidyalaya (2005-2019), Affiliated to The University of Burdwan in West Bengal. He holds an M.Phil and a Ph.D from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. His interest areas include, India’s Foreign Policy, International Relations (US, Canada, EU, Middle East, Neighbours), Canada’s Foreign Policy, Multiculturalism, Immigration Policy, Refugee Issues, Research Methodology in Social Science etc. Participated in various National/International Conferences as a Resource Person, paper Presenter, Moderator or Chairing Sessions.

• Member of the General Body and Treasurer of the Institute of Development Studies Kolkata (IDSK), nominated by the Higher Education Department, Government of West Bengal, for a term of 3(three) years (2025-28).• Life Member of (i) West Bengal Political Science Association (WBPSA), Kolkata; (ii) Council for Political Studies (CPS), Kolkata.
